Market Strategies International is seeking a Sampling Analyst who will join a small, but talented team of individuals who prepare the survey samples for nearly every research study completed by the company. This role is critical to the success of each study, and the position offers the ability to apply your knowledge of sampling methods or develop these skills. Successful candidates will have very strong data management skills and experience.
Collaborate with internal staff regarding sample design and procurement
Acquire, prepare, and monitor survey samples for a wide range of survey research projects, including phone and web surveys.
Manage and process large sets of data (provided in various formats) into usable sample files
Work on multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment
Develop post-stratification weighting at the completion of survey projects
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience managing, cleaning and manipulating large sets of data is required.
2+ years of experience in survey/market research preferred
Must have excellent data management skills (SAS preferred)
Familiarity with SQL and databases a plus
Previous experience would be helpful in the following areas: survey sample design and sampling statistics, web panels, weighting, survey methodology or research procedures
Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
